Celebrate Platypus Month by attending a walk with Waterwatch to discuss these elusive mammals that live in our waterways and hopefully spot some. This year, Upper Murrumbidgee Waterwatch is delivering a midday Platypus walk at the Tidbinbilla Sanctuary. The walk is about 2km return and is accessible for anyone including those with mobility aids. The walk will start go for around an hour. You are then welcome to continue enjoying the river and keep a lookout for Platypus and Rakali. Bookings are essential. While the walk itself is free, entry fees to Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve will still be required.
