Tidbinbilla Visitor Centre

Tidbinbilla Visitor Centre is currently closed for upgrades and the COVID-19 situation. Entry fees will not be charged at this time. The boomgate is open and visitor maps are available from the front of the Visitor Centre.

Photo of the Tidbinbilla Visitor Centre foyerThe Tidbinbilla Visitor Centre is open seven days a week and provides up-to-date information about walks, self-guided options, ranger guided activities and tours. The gift shop sells a wide range of clothes, toys, books, jewellery, cards and souvenirs The Centre also has a wide range of maps and guide books including plants, animals, birds, Aboriginal connections and the history of the area.

Our kiosk has coffee, snacks, ice cream, hot pies and sausage rolls, cold drinks, as well as vegetarian options. The Visitor Centre, also has a great range of local, and bush tucker food, including native spices and chutneys.

Opens 9:00am and closes 5:00pm all year

Reserve Gates

Winter: Opens 7.30am; closes 6pm
Summer: Opens 7.30am; closes 8pm in summer (AEDT)

Tidbinbilla is CLOSED on Christmas Day.

Tidbinbilla may also be closed on days of total fire ban, high winds or for management requirements.
