Tidbinbilla Open Day
The annual Tidbinbilla Open Day is on again this year on Sunday 29 September 2019 from 10:00am – 3:00pm in a relaxed family friendly atmosphere with free entry to Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve.
Join MC ‘Tim the Yowie Man’ for a fun-filled day of nature-based experiences, kid’s activities, live music, displays, demonstrations and more - held in the greatest venue of all, the great outdoors!
The theme this year is ‘Explore, Relax, Recharge’ where we encourage you to explore the Reserve with renewed curiosity and a focus on the many benefits that can be gained from spending a day immersed in nature and culture.
Embrace the opportunity to engage in many forms of nature-based activities or just take some time out to have a deep breath of fresh air, sit back and enjoy the festivities.
Open Day is also naming day for our newest little female koala. Come down to Eucalypt Forest or ACT Parks and Conservation Stall at Sheedys and vote on a number of possible names. Voting is only open for one day so come along to make your vote count!
