Try the TrailRider: all terrain wheelchair experience at the National Arboretum Canberra

Try out the TrailRider, an all terrain wheelchair, with the assistance of volunteer 'sherpas' and tour guides, and discover the National Arboretum Canberra’s Himalayan cedar forest, one of the oldest forests at the Arboretum, planted in 1917-1930 and 2010.

There will be two sessions on the day, from 10.00am – 12.00pm and 1.00pm – 3.00pm.  Bookings are essential, please contact Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve on 620 51233.

Terms and conditions:

  • This activity is for people with disability only (must be 1.2m+ in height)
  • Participants must be able to independently transfer between their own wheelchair, or with the assistance of friends and/or family.
