Discover our wild side and venture beyond reserve management gates on this exclusive, behind the scenes, endangered wildlife experience. The tour is run in partnership between Tidbinbilla and Conservation Volunteers Australia (CVA).
This small group adventure (2 days) will take you beyond the boundaries to uncover the hidden secrets of Tidbinbilla. A CVA guide and Tidbinbilla Wildlife Officers will take you into the 'off limit' areas for close encounters with some of Australia’s precious wildlife.
Discover the leading role Tidbinbilla plays in breeding the critically endangered Brush-tailed Rock-wallaby and the Northern Corroboree Frog. Personally contribute to this important research as you assist wildlife officers with the wildlife breeding and animal monitoring program of Brush-tailed Rock-wallabies or Potoroos. After a rewarding day contributing to conservation, return to our wilderness camp at Nil Desperandum, a heritage homestead hidden away in a tranquil valley. Reflect on the days’ unique experiences, whilst being warmed by a camp fire, under a stunning canopy of stars.
