Published: Wednesday, 17 December 2014Tidbinbilla was host to 3 members of the Southern Brush-tailed Rock-wallaby Recovery Team last week. Dr David Schultz, Adelaide zoo, Tony Corrigan, Environment Planning Directorate and Dr David Taggart, Fauna Research Alliance . Dr Taggart pioneered the use of cross fostering to save the critically endangered Southern Brush-tailed Rock-wallaby (sBTRW). This process enables us to increase the breeding rate of sBTRW’s with the use of a surrogate species, Yellow-footed Rock-wallaby. See the full story.
