World of Waterbugs – Tidbinbilla School Holiday Program

Join us for an interactive experience where kids will have the opportunity to look at our local Macroinvertebrates, also known as Waterbugs, up close.

Church Rock Heritage loop

  • Wednesday, 17 April 2024

  • 11am - 12 noon

Take a walk with our ranger around the newly upgraded Church Rock heritage loop. You will walk through historic remains and learn about what life was like as an early European settler in the valley. Other highlights include fantastic views and of course a visit to Church Rock itself to learn about how it got its name. The walk is 2.5km long of moderate difficulty. Please bring walking shoes, water and sun protection.

Tidbinbilla

The Tidbinbilla Valley has played an important part of the Australian Capital Territory's (ACT) nature conservation efforts since 1936 and was gazetted as a nature reserve and national park in 1971.
